So funktioniert Cashless-Bezahlen beim MIT DIR 2026

Auf dem MIT DIR Festival bezahlt ihr bargeldlos mit dem Chip an eurem Festivalbändchen. Hier findet ihr alles Wichtige zum Aufladen, Bezahlen, Guthaben prüfen und zur Auszahlung nach dem Festival.
Festivalbändchen & Einlass
Euer Festivalbändchen begleitet euch das ganze Wochenende. Es bringt euch aufs Gelände und dient gleichzeitig als Geldbörse für alle bargeldlosen Zahlungen.
Ihr bekommt es direkt am Einlass. Passt gut darauf auf und lasst es einfach am Handgelenk. Sollte das Band doch einmal kaputtgehen, haltet es bitte fest und kommt direkt zum Info Point.
Wichtig: Hebt euer Festivalbändchen nach dem Festival noch ein bisschen auf. Über den QR-Code oder die Nummern auf der Unterseite des Chips könnt ihr euch später euer Restguthaben zurückholen. Ein Foto davon schadet ebenfalls nicht.
Müllpfand
Beim Einlass sammeln wir 10 € Müllpfand in bar ein. Dafür bekommt ihr einen Müllsack und eine Müllpfandmarke, die am Ende eures Festivalbändchens hängt.
Wenn ihr später einen gut gefüllten Müllsack zusammen mit der Marke an der Müllstation abgebt, bekommt ihr die 10 € natürlich zurück.
Bitte denkt also daran, etwas Bargeld für den Einlass dabeizuhaben.
Guthaben aufladen
Ihr könnt euer Festivalbändchen auf drei Wegen aufladen:
1. Vor dem Festival
Am entspanntesten ist es, wenn ihr euer Guthaben schon vor der Anreise über unseren Cashless-Anbieter aufladet. Das spart Wartezeit und ihr könnt direkt loslegen. Dazu bekommt ihr vorab eine Mail mit eurem persönlichen Zugang.
2. Vor Ort am Self-Service-Terminal
Auf dem Gelände findet ihr Aufladestationen, an denen ihr euer Bändchen mit EC- oder Kreditkarte aufladen könnt.
3. An der Cashless-Hütte
An unserer Cashless-Hütte könnt ihr euer Bändchen auch mit Bargeld aufladen.
Guthaben prüfen
Über den QR-Code auf eurem Festivalbändchen könnt ihr auch jederzeit euren aktuellen Kontostand einsehen.
Bezahlen auf dem Festival
Auf dem gesamten Festivalgelände bezahlt ihr ausschließlich mit eurem Festivalbändchen. Bar- oder Kartenzahlung ist an den Ständen nicht möglich.
Wenn ihr Trinkgeld geben möchtet, könnt ihr das nach dem Bezahlvorgang direkt über das Kassensystem machen.
Bändchen verloren oder Chip funktioniert nicht?
Wenn euer Chip nicht mehr funktioniert oder ihr euer Festivalbändchen verliert, kommt bitte direkt zum Cashless-Point und fragt nach einem neuen Bändchen.
Dort werdet ihr gebeten, einen Lichtbildausweis vorzulegen. Anschließend bekommt ihr ein neues Bändchen und das zuletzt bekannte Guthaben wird übertragen.
Das funktioniert nur, wenn ihr euch vorher einen persönlichen Account beim Cashless-Anbieter erstellt habt. Ohne persönlichen Account ist eine Sperrung des Chips leider nicht möglich, da keine eindeutige Referenz vorliegt.
Bitte beachtet: Für Beträge, die zwischen dem Verlust eures Bändchens und der Ausgabe eines neuen Bändchens ausgegeben werden, können wir leider nicht haften.
Vorab aufgeladen, aber doch nicht dabei?
Wenn ihr vor dem Festival Guthaben aufgeladen habt, ist dieses Guthaben mit eurem persönlichen Ticket verknüpft.
Falls ihr euer Ticket weitergebt, das Guthaben aber nicht an die neue Ticketperson übertragen möchtet, meldet euch bitte bei: ticket@mit-dir-festival.de
Gebt dabei bitte folgende Daten an:

Betrag des Guthabens, den ihr auszahlen lassen möchtet
Zahlungsmethode
IBAN und BIC
Bitte beachtet, dass die Rücküberweisung bis zu 14 Werktage dauern kann.
Bitte bedenkt, dass ab Donnerstag (23.07.2026) bis einschließlich Montag (27.07.2026) Festival-Betrieb ist und eine zeitnahe Bearbeitung der Emails nicht gewährleistet werden kann.
Restguthaben nach dem Festival zurückholen
Ab dem 01.08.2026 könnt ihr euch euer Restguthaben über den QR-Code oder die Nummern auf der Unterseite des Chips zurücküberweisen lassen.
Wenn ihr bereits eine Zahlungsmethode hinterlegt habt, läuft die Rückzahlung darüber. Falls nicht, könnt ihr eure Bankverbindung angeben.
Für die Rückerstattung braucht ihr die Angaben unter eurem Chip:
ID: die Buchstaben-Zahlen-Kombination
PIN: die Zahlenkombination oberhalb der ID
Datenschutz
Personenbezogene Daten werden nur verarbeitet, wenn sie für Aufladungen, Sperrungen, Ersatzbändchen oder die Rückerstattung von Restguthaben notwendig sind.
Also zum Beispiel, wenn ihr vorab Guthaben aufladet, vor Ort mit Karte zahlt oder euch nach dem Festival Geld zurücküberweisen lasst.

Cashless payments at MIT DIR Festival
At MIT DIR Festival, all payments are cashless and made with the chip in your festival wristband. Here you’ll find everything you need to know about topping up, paying, checking your balance and getting your remaining credit back after the festival.
Festival wristband & entry
Your festival wristband will stay with you all weekend. It gives you access to the festival site and also works as your wallet for all cashless payments.
You’ll receive your wristband directly at the entrance. Please take good care of it and keep it on your wrist. If it gets damaged, hold on to it and come straight to the Info Point.
Important: Please keep your wristband for a little while after the festival. You can use the QR code or the numbers on the back of the chip to claim back any remaining balance. Taking a photo of it is also a good idea.
Waste deposit
At the entrance, we collect a 10 € waste deposit in cash. In return, you’ll receive a rubbish bag and a waste deposit token attached to the end of your festival wristband.
Once you return a well-filled rubbish bag together with the token at the waste station, you’ll get your 10 € back.
So please remember to bring some cash for the entrance.
Topping up your balance
You can top up your festival wristband in three ways:
1. Before the festival
The easiest option is to top up your balance before you arrive, through our cashless provider. This saves waiting time and lets you get started right away. You’ll receive an email beforehand with your personal access.
2. On site at the self-service terminal
On the festival site, you’ll find top-up stations where you can add credit to your wristband by debit or credit card.
3. At the Cashless Hut
At our Cashless Hut, you can also top up your wristband with cash.
Checking your balance
You can check your current balance at any time using the QR code on your festival wristband.
Paying at the festival
All payments on the festival site are made exclusively with your festival wristband. Cash or card payments at the stands are not possible.
If you’d like to leave a tip, you can do so directly through the payment system after your purchase.
Lost wristband or chip not working?
If your chip stops working or you lose your festival wristband, please go directly to the Cashless Point and ask for a new wristband.
You’ll be asked to show a photo ID. After that, you’ll receive a new wristband and your last known balance will be transferred.
This only works if you have created a personal account with the cashless provider beforehand. Without a personal account, the chip unfortunately cannot be blocked, as there is no clear reference number.
Please note: We cannot be held liable for any amount spent between the loss of your wristband and the issuing of a new one.
Topped up in advance, but can’t attend?
If you topped up your balance before the festival, that balance is linked to your personal ticket.
If you pass on your ticket but don’t want to transfer the credit to the new ticket holder, please contact: ticket@mit-dir-festival.de

Please note that the refund can take up to 14 working days.
Also please keep in mind that from Thursday, 23.07.2026, through Monday, 27.07.2026, the festival is running, so we cannot guarantee a quick response to emails during that time.
Getting your remaining balance back after the festival
From 09.08.2026, you can refund your remaining balance using the QR code or the numbers on the back of the chip.
If you have already added a payment method, the refund will be made through that. If not, you can enter your bank details.
For the refund, you’ll need the information on the back of your chip:
ID: the letter-number combination
PIN: the number combination above the ID
Data protection
Personal data is only processed when it is necessary for top-ups, blocking a chip, issuing replacement wristbands or refunding remaining balance.
For example, when you top up in advance, pay by card on site or request a refund after the festival.
